I continued working from the bottom up, towards the head, as the layers of hair lie on top of the next layer down. After blocking in the different tones and colours, I am literally painting individual hairs with my long, fine No.1 brush and a good dose of Liquin mixed in. This is one, very hairy dog with long curly locks - very time consuming. If a highlighted hair is not standing out where it should be, brush in some darks around it to give depth to the hair.
