Reflective Light in Portraiture

I've washed in part of the shirt's collar to get an idea of the shadows involved on Kacey's neck.  By leaning forward, the open shirt allows more light into that area under the shirt, reflecting the shirt's colour (which is maroon) and giving his skin a lovely reflective glow (therefore a light orangey clean maroon colour).  Where the shirt is touching the skin, it is darker and harder.  As the collar is blue, this will be a blue/purple dark.
