Started Drawing the First Little Pig

Started the first layer with a very light Ultramarine Blue and a few light greys.  Only using a light pressure to start with.  I'm learning that my Faber-Castell polychromos colour pencils are very soft and are therefore really good at blending, while the Prismacolor pencils are a bit harder and are better for dark shadows and fine lines.

  1. So much work done already Barb! It's funny how the two brands are so different!

    1. Yeah and your run-of-the-mill cheap colour pencils are very hard and scratchy and break easily. These Faber-Castell pencils aren't supposed to break.
