Started Drawing the First Little Pig
Started the first layer with a very light Ultramarine Blue and a few light greys. Only using a light pressure to start with. I'm learning that my Faber-Castell polychromos colour pencils are very soft and are therefore really good at blending, while the Prismacolor pencils are a bit harder and are better for dark shadows and fine lines.

So much work done already Barb! It's funny how the two brands are so different!
ReplyDeleteYeah and your run-of-the-mill cheap colour pencils are very hard and scratchy and break easily. These Faber-Castell pencils aren't supposed to break.
