The Wedge-Tailed Eagle is the largest bird of prey in Australia. I held this beautiful girl on my arm while on a visit to a Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Centre on Kangaroo Island. She was just magnificent, weighing 4kg! She was rescued after being found with a broken wing. So here she is, all drawn up and ready to paint!
