I want my eagle to appear as if he is high up in the trees looking across the landscape. I have created some soft clouds with a little white on blue, making sure they are very soft and fluffy. I have roughly painted in my leaves in one section with a thin wash, feathering off as I go to ensure a very out-of-focus look. I will be softening and sharpening as needed as I paint the layers on.
