Dealing With the Background in Our Second Lesson

I have many similar photos of these beautiful Tudor houses taken from all over the UK.  This one is set in Oxfordshire and is very much a photographer's delight.  It is called Blewbury Cottage and people live there still.  Anyway, we continued with the foliage in the background and then commenced the thatched roof at the back.  This has to be soft and slightly out-of-focus to keep it in the distance.  So we are using the same colours to give a slightly purple look.
