We've now finished enhancing the waves with highlights and extra darks. For highlights on the water between the waves I used Naples Yellow Reddish. It is a slightly pink colour. When I came to the foreshore, I decided that it was all too dark. From the centre out, I went over it starting with the lightest creamy mixture of Cadmium Yellow Deep, a dot of Red Light and white. I will then progress to a darker mix of orange, feathering off as I go. Starting from the outside, I worked my way back towards the centre with a mix of Indian Red and Ultramarine Blue. Feather it off before adding the detail again.
