Using the same colours, we painted the flamingo's reflection as if it were in 3D on dry land i.e. forget it is just a reflection for now. Once we have gone thru the procedure of shading, highlighting and detail, I will wipe off my brush and drag it sideways in the direction of the water with my brush on it's side. This will help to blur the tones, and drag out the edges into the greens.
