I have finally finished my first grandchild's portrait. I filled in some of the background around his head and shoulder and feathered that off into his shirt, skin and hair. This is a bit tedious as you want the background soft and the figure sharp. Re-wetting the two edges and blending them into each other requires patience as you remix all the colours. Only 2 more kids to go!
